Play Responsibly, Stay in Control

Where to Get Help, Take a Break or Self-Exclude and Protecting Minors.

These pages describe Spade54; they do not operate it. Gambling costs money and carries risk. 18+ only, and support exists if it stops being a pastime.

Where to Get Help

Speak to a doctor or a licensed counsellor about gambling concerns. Free, confidential support is also available from international organisations: Gamblers Anonymous, GamCare and Gambling Therapy. Search for any of these names online to find their services. Telling one person you trust is usually the first step, and it is often the hardest. You do not need to have all the answers. Just reaching out can make a difference.

Take a Break or Self-Exclude

A cooling-off period pauses your account for a short time, such as 24 hours or a week. Self-exclusion closes your account for a fixed term, often six months or longer. It cannot be lifted early, no matter the reason. To request self-exclusion, contact support in writing. The platform will remove access to all games and prevent new accounts during the term. After the term ends, you must actively ask to be reinstated.

Protecting Minors

Gambling on this site is strictly for those aged 18 and over. If you share a computer with a minor, consider installing filtering software to block access to gambling websites. Most internet security suites include this option. Never leave your account logged in on a shared device. Keep your password and payment details private. If you suspect a minor has used the site, contact support immediately.

Set Your Limits

You can set deposit limits for a day, week or month through your account settings. Loss limits and session time limits work the same way. Tighter limits apply at once; if you ask for a higher limit, it takes effect only after a cooling-off period of several days. Reality-check reminders are optional pop-ups that show how long you have been playing and how much you have spent. Turn them on in the lobby under 'Responsible Gambling'. These tools are free and can be changed at any time, but the cooling-off rule always applies when raising a limit.

Recognising a Problem

Ask yourself honestly: Do you chase losses, hoping to win back what you lost? Do you borrow money or sell belongings to play? Do you hide how much time or money you spend? If the answer is yes to any of these, it is worth pausing. Do you play to escape stress, boredom or sadness? Do you need larger bets to feel the same excitement? Have you missed work, skipped sleep or neglected family because of gambling? One yes does not mean you have a problem, but several may mean it is time to seek help.

The Money Facts

Gambling is entertainment that costs money. It is not a way to make income, and the odds always favour the operator over the long run. No system, streak or staking plan changes that mathematical reality. Play with money you can afford to lose. Set a budget before you start and stick to it. Once the budget is gone, stop. Treat any winnings as a bonus, not a guarantee.

Carry on with Fish Shooting, Slots, Arcade Games, or check the bonus before you deposit.
